Ingredients
6 Hard boiled eggs
pinch of baking soda
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 cup gram flour (besan)
oil to fry
salt and black pepper powder to taste
Method
- Make a very thick batter by mixing gram flour , chili powder , ginger garlic paste, baking soda and salt with water.
- Dip each egg in the batter and fry till golden brown. Make sure the egg is well coated with a thick batter else the egg will explode where ever it touches the hot oil.
- Cut the eggs into 2 equal halves.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve with ketchup or chutney.
