Crispy baingan (egg plant) k pakorey



 


Ingredients


1 cup Besan (gram four)
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
One big size baingan (egg plant)
Salt to taste
Chilli powder
Pinch of baking soda
Oil for frying
Water
Half spoon turmeric




Method

  • For batter take the besan in a big size bowl add ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli powder, pinch of soda, salt as per taste, turmeric and water.
  • Mix all the above ingredients nicely with d help of a spoon and make a smooth and thin batter.
  • Keep the batter aside.
  • Now wash and cut the baingan in round shape having 1 inch thickness.
  • Take a frying pan and add sufficient amount of refined oil for deep frying.
  • When the oil gets heated, dip the baingan in the batter and coat it nicely.
  • Then add these baingan one by one in hot oil and fry them nicely.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chilli souce.
