Ingredients
1 medium bowl mustard seed paste
1 medium size sliced onion
4 green chillies cut vertically
One medium size tomato finely chopped
Half spoon of chilli powder
Half spoon of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of ginger paste one tea spoon of garlic paste
Four medium size pieces of any fish
Curry leaves
Half tea spoon whole jeera
Pinch of suger
Mustard oil for frying the fish and for curry.
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Method
- First marinate the fish with turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder.
- Then heat a pan pour little oil and fry the fish pieces nicely till they change colour into golden brown.
- Now take the mustard paste ginger garlic paste turmeric powder chilli powder in a bowl and mix them well and keep aside.
- Take 4 table spoon oil in a kadhai. When the oil gets heated add the whole jeera and curry leaves then add sliced onions and tomato and sauté them well till the onions become translucent.
- Then add the masala paste and sauté it for 5 minutes. Add salt as per taste.
- Then add half a medium bowl of water then add the fried fishes and green chillies.
- Bring it to boil keeping in medium flame. Add pinch of suger for taste balance.
- At the end add chppoed coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with plain rice.
