Crispy Outside Soft Inside Fish Fingers



Ingredients


1 ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt as per taste
1 ½ pepper
1 ½ mustard powder
400gm fish cut into approx 8cm*1 ½ cm
1 egg beaten
1 ½ dry bred crumbs
Oil for frying 2 cups (480ml)




Method


Mix oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
Add fish.
Mix gently. Keep covered in a cool place for ½ hour.
Heat oil in deep frying pan on high for about 5min then roll in bread crumbs.
Add one after to hot oil.
Reduce heat to medium-high.
Fry till light golden brown.
Remove and drain.
Fry remaining pieces in the same way, increasing heat after each batch.
Serve hot, accompanied with tomato ketchup.
