Crispy Spicy Prawn Fry








Ingredients


Fresh prawns
finely chopped onions
finely chopped green chilli
coriander powder - 2tbsps
turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
salt to taste
coriander leaves(Optional) curry leaves




Method

  • Clean the prawns nicely and take out the hard skin. 
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion, curry leaves and the green chilli until the onion is colour changes. 
  • Then add the coriander powder and turmeric, stir and fry for one minute. And add the prawns and salt, stir and fry for 4-5 minutes. 
  • Add little water (1 or 2 tbsps) and adjust the heat to low and let it cook until it begins to brown, stirring occasionally. 
  • Remove from the heat. Stir in the coriander leaves. 
  • Serve with plain rice or biryani or fried rice.
